Formerly a jazz drummer, Christopher Young decided to take on film compositions mainly after hearing Bernard Hermann’s works in such films as Hitchcock’s Psycho, Scorsese’s Taxi Driver and Orson Welles’ Citizen Kane. Christopher Young himself composed the scores of almost 100 films, and has even acted in one, Houseboat Horror (1989).
